How to Remove the Ad.Yieldmanager Popup Window in Registry Defender

Registry Defender may disable your legitimate Internet security programs.

Ad.Yieldmanager is a fake threat that appears in the form of a pop-up generated by Registry Defender, also known as Registry Defender Platinum, a fake registry cleaner. Registry Defender launches pop-ups telling you that your computer is infected with various viruses and then explaining that you need to purchase the "full version" of Registry Defender to remove the infections. Remove the Ad.Yieldmanager pop-up by manually removing Registry Defender.

Instructions

End Processes

1. Press Ctrl, Shift and Esc to open the Task Manager.

2. Click the "General" tab of the Task Manager.

3. End the following processes. To end a process, select the process and click "End Process."

   RDPlatinumv5.exe

   Uninstall.exe

   Updater.exe

4. Close the Task Manager.

Delete Registry Values

1. Click "Start," type "regedit" into the search field and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

2. Delete the following registry values from the right pane of the Registry Editor. To delete a registry value, right-click the value and select "Delete." To locate a particular value, click "Edit," select "Find," type the name of the value into the search box and click "Find Next."

3. Close the Registry Editor.

1. Click "Start," type "cmd" into the search field and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.

2. Type the following commands into the Command Prompt. Press the Enter key after each command.

   del INSTALL.LOG

   del install.sss

   del RDPlatinumv5.exe

   del RDPlatinumv5.exe.manifest

   del Uninstall.exe

   del Updater.exe

   del User Guide.URL

   del repair-bar scan-bar-100 scan-bar-pulse

   del report.csv

   del Registry-Defender v5.lnk

   del Customer Support.lnk

   del RD Platinum v5.lnk

   del User Guide.lnk

   rmdir c:\Program Files\Angle Interactive

   rmdir c:\Program Files\Angle Interactive\RD Platinum v5.0

   rmdir c:\ProgramData\RD Platinum v5.0\backup

3. Type "Exit" and press Enter to close the Command Prompt.
