How to Heat Mold Scarpa Ski Boot Liners at Home
The Scarpa boot liners come with each pair of boots the company makes, or if you have an older pair of boots, Scarpa makes the Intuition liner available for sale to supplement and improve the boots. The liners are made of expandable and moldable foam, allowing you to gain a custom fit for your foot and arch. If you do not live near a ski shop and need to mold the liner, use a tested method of getting your Scarpas ready for your foot and a season of use.
Instructions

1
Preheat an oven, set to convection, to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Wrap tin foil around a cookie sheet.
-
2
Pull the liners out of the boot and remove any laces from the liner. Pull the tongue down and out from the liner.
-
-
3
Prepare your feet by putting on a lightweight and thin ski sock (like you wear when out of the hills) and placing any footbeds you use onto the bottom of the socks.
-
4
Place the liners into the oven, on the wrapped cookie sheet, and let them cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Check the liners and see if they have expanded in the heat, readying them for the molding.
-
5
Remove the liners from the oven and let them cool for one to two minutes (or until they are comfortable to the touch). Slide your feet into the liners, footbeds and sock ready.
-
6
Stand in one position, preferably your ski stance, with a flex in the knee) for 20 minutes. This allows the liner to cool and shrink, molding to your feet.
-
7
Step into the Scarpa boot shells and leave on for an additional 30 minutes, letting the liners mold to the boot.
