"Entropia Universe," formerly "Project Entropia," is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The 3D game takes place in space and allows interstellar travel. A large aspect of "Entropia" is the intricate economy system. Players can choose to be bankers, workers or other occupations to gain money from other players. The game has been featured multiple times in the "Guinness Book of World Records" for the most expensive in-game object sold. Although thriving in "Entropia Universe" may seem daunting, starting out in the virtual world is relatively easy.

Go to the "Entropia Universe" homepage and click the "Join Now" button.

Click the "Download" button. Save the installer in an easy-to-find location. Once the download is complete, double-click the installer to install the game on your computer.

Follow the instructions to create an "Entropia Universe" account. You need to enter your name, email and custom username.

Create a character on the next screen. Choose your character's appearance and name. Once you select a name, it cannot be changed. Save your changes and launch the game.

Earn money by "sweating" animals. Short of spending a lot of real-life money, "sweat" harvesting is the only way for beginners to earn money for weapons and armor. To harvest sweat, walk up to an animal and right-click on it. Select the "Collect Vibrant Sweat" option. Sell the sweat to traders or in the shops.

Purchase a gun. Hunt animals to earn more money. Once you have collected a significant sum, you can purchase mining or manufacturing equipment.
