      Remove the mop head from your dust mop. The head should pull or snap off the base.

      Turn on the washing machine using a warm water wash, a capful of laundry detergent, 1 cup white vinegar and 1 cup baking soda. Place the dust mop in the washer and allow the cycle to complete. All cleaning ingredients will work in sync to clean and soften the mop.

      Place the dust mop in the dryer and dry on low heat. The dryer will restore the fluffy texture of the mop.
