Instructions

    • 1

Set up your all your supplies on a small table. Be ready before your client arrives.

    • 2

Make sure your client is comfortable. Offer him a cozy chair to sit in near your table of supplies. Clean off his face with a baby wipe since you want to work with a clean surface.

    • 3

Ask your client what look she is hoping for since you want to be sure you have a satisfied customer. Describe the design you have in mind before you begin painting; this will ensure you both are communicating clearly.

    • 4

Plan your design thoroughly before beginning. Sketch a quick picture, or use other pictures or photographs as a guide.

    • 5

Use a fat brush to coat the face with any background colors. For example, paint on orange or yellow (or a mix of both) all over the face if you will be making a tiger design. Leave the eye area clear if you plan to paint it different colors.

    • 6

Use smaller brushes and sponges to make the finer details like whiskers, freckles, dots or lines. Consider using stencils to help form your design. Add on any final touches using face glitter, body glitter, rhinestones or colored fake eyelashes.

    • 7

Show your client the final product with the mirror. Ask if he is satisfied.

    • 8

Clean all your supplies before starting your next client.
