How to Ask for an RSVP for a Dinner Meeting
R.S.V.P. is an acronym used on formal invitations. It is an abbreviation of the French phrase "Repondez, s'il vous plait," which requests that the recipient please respond to the invitation. Invitees should respond to an R.S.V.P. whether they are attending the event or not. The method by which you can request an invitation response varies, depending on the method by which you invited the intended guest.
