    • 1

Prepare your work area for painting by placing some newspaper on the work surface.

    • 2

Paint the puzzle pieces with acrylic craft paints. They can be painted red, green or any color you'd like. Allow the pieces to dry completely.

    • 3

Cut a circle out of thick cardboard with scissors to provide a backing for the puzzle wreath. Cut a hole in the center of the circle. A craft knife may be needed for this part. The cardboard backing is a great guide for deciding on the dimensions of your puzzle wrealth.

    • 4

Glue the largest pieces to the cardboard circle with craft glue. Overlap the pieces slightly while gluing them.

    • 5

Glue smaller pieces on top of the larger ones. Stagger them to give the wreath more depth.

    • 6

Add several layers of puzzle pieces, going from large pieces to small pieces. Be sure to completely hide the cardboard backing circle.

    • 7

Glue glitter and sequins onto the wreath to embellish it.

    • 8

Make a bow with ribbon and glue it to the top or bottom of your wreath to finish it.
