If you bring makeup to a photo shoot at the beach, you must take proper care to keep the makeup from getting too hot. Makeup needs to be kept cool and if it is placed on a beach in the heat, the results can be devastating. You can take steps to keep your makeup at the proper temperature, however; this includes placing your makeup bag in a shaded area at the beach or bringing along a cooler in which you can store your makeup.

Things You'll Need

• Cosmetic cooler bag
• Umbrella
• Cooler

Instructions

1. Take only the makeup items you will be using for the photo shoot. Leave the rest at home or in a cool location.

2. Place the makeup you need in a cosmetic cooler bag. A cosmetic cooler is a makeup bag that is insulated to keep makeup cool.

3. Place your insulated makeup bag in a shaded area of the beach and under an umbrella, if possible.

4. Bring a small cooler if no shade is available and place your makeup bag in the cooler along with an ice pack sealed inside a plastic zipper bag.
