Open your Web browser. Visit the log-in page for your WordPress installation and log in using your username and password.

Enter "http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php" (without quotes) into your browser's address bar, then press Enter. Replace the "yourdomain.com" domain name with the domain name for your WordPress installation.

Click the "Upgrade" button. You will be shown a message that your database upgrade complete, with a link to the Dashboard page. Click on that link to complete the process.
