How to Revenue Share on YouTube
In addition to providing a way for the average user to upload short videos to their channel, YouTube runs a program that allows advanced YouTube users to earn revenue from their videos. Referred to as"YouTube Partners," members of the program share revenue with Google from advertisements generated by the search engine's proprietary technology. To enter the program, you must first apply to become a partner and demonstrate that your channel meets the necessary qualifications. It generally takes up to four weeks for Google to respond to applications.
