How to Make a Cheerleading Scrapbook
Whether you are completing a full season of cheerleading, returning home from a cheer camp, or looking for a special gift for your coach or team captain, a cheerleading scrapbook is a great way to preserve those special memories. Any basic scrapbook can be turned into a cheerleader's scrapbook through the use of custom stickers, supplies and plenty of spirit. Cheerleading scrapbooks make wonderful end-of-year gifts for each member of the team as well.

1
Select a scrapbook to use. Any plain scrapbook will do, but specialty scrapbooking stores also carry albums designed to look like megaphones.
-
2
Choose the photographs you want to feature. Don't forget to include the team photo and an individual cheerleader photo if the album is for a specific cheerleader. Select a mixture of candids and posed photographs.

-
3
Locate newspaper clippings to include in the scrapbook. Pictures or mentions of the team's success in tournaments or championships in the school or local paper make interesting background pages.
-
4
Include programs from pep rallies for a school cheerleading album, or a camp brochure or schedule for a camp album. Include both for an album that covers a cheerleader's entire career.
-
5
Lay out the book. Alternate pictures and text. Include cheer-themed stickers and artwork, and caption as many photos as you can. If possible, include a page with autographs from cheerleading squad teammates. Use award patches to decorate some pages in place of stickers.
-
6
Decorate the outside of the book. If you won your camp's spirit stick, glue it to the spine of the book as a decorative handle. Use school colors, foam megaphones and streamers to help make the scrapbook stand out.
