Highlight passages in your Nook books for later viewing.

The Nook e-reader by Barnes & Noble not only lets you carry around a library of books wherever you go, it also gives you the ability to highlight text. If you like a passage from a book or want to learn more about what you read, you can highlight the passage for later viewing. You can quickly access all of your highlighted passages to review all of the passages you have highlighted.

Instructions

    • 1

Touch and hold a word in the passage you want to highlight and then remove your finger. The word is highlighted in yellow with a blue bar on both sides of the word.

    • 2

Drag the left blue bar to the beginning of the passage you want to highlight. All of the words between the left bar and the right bar are highlighted.

    • 3

Move the right blue bar to the end of the passage to highlight the remaining words. A toolbar appears on the screen with several options.

    • 4
