How to Measure Bandwidth With Comcast
Although many network providers have a vaguely defined "excessive use" policy, Comcast provides an absolute maximum amount of data transfer that a subscriber can have during a month until they will be warned for excessive usage. Repeat violators of this policy have their Internet access terminated, so it is important to use Comcast's online bandwidth tools to verify you are not exceeding their data caps. This cap is 250 gigabytes of transfer per month, as of 2011.
