1
Insert a 1/8 inch diamond drill bit into a drill press.
-
2
Clamp the point of a crocodile tooth in a vice attached to the drill press.
-
-
3
Position the root end of the tooth under the drill bit.
-
4
Put on safety goggles to protect your eyes.
-
5
Slowly drill through the tooth, applying steady but not intense pressure on the drill. Have a partner spray the bit and tooth with water, which will reduce the risk of the tooth shattering due to heat.
-
6
Repeat this process for each tooth.
-
7
String a yard of leather cord through the first tooth, stopping when a foot of leather extends from the end of the hole.
-
8
Wrap the longer end of the cord around the tooth once, then string it through the hole again. This will lock the tooth in place on the cord.
-
9
Add additional teeth to the cord, spacing them as desired.
-
10
Tie the ends of the cord behind your neck, then trim off the excess with a sharp pair of scissors.
