How to Troubleshoot an Evernote Account Switcher

Evernote Account Switcher is an add-on to the Evernote software for Macintosh computers. Evernote helps you remember importance information by capturing it in an application. For example, you can use the program to write out grocery lists or directions. The notes are available online. Evernote Account Switcher allows you to move between accounts. Because the original Evernote does not include the account switch option, Jazzaround.net creates this small, add-on application. You can troubleshoot problems with it yourself.

Instructions

    • 1

Upgrade to Version 2.0 if you have an older version of the program installed. For example, if you are using the older, 1.2 version of the program, you may not see all of your Evernote accounts in order to switch between them. Visit the Evernote download page and click "I agree. Download Evernote Account Switcher" (see Resources).

    • 2

Restart your computer after installed Evernote Account Switcher. If you try to run the program after it is installed, without restarting, you may have problems using the program.

    • 3

Reconfigure the account after downloading Evernote Account Switcher, if necessary. Click on an available account and press the "Edit" button, at the bottom left of the program, to erase it. The "Edit" button is represented by a pencil. You may have entered the wrong information for this account. Enter your Evernote username and password and select the "Save" option.
