Open the Craigslist website, then select the city from the listing of states on the right side side of the page.

Select the section for the classified you want to browse from the list on the left side of the page. Subheadings include community, personals, discussion forums, housing, for sale, jobs, resumes, gigs and services.

View the listings on the page. Refresh the page to view new listings by clicking the arrow located to the left of the address bar in Google Chrome. The box is located to the right of the address bar in Mozilla Firefox and directly in the address bar on the right side in Internet Explorer.
