How to Go From Phone to Chrome Not Chrome to Phone

You can send bookmarks from your phone to Google Chrome instead of the other way around. You'll need an Android smartphone and to install the ChromeMarks Lite application to enable this functionality from your phone to the browser. Once installed, any bookmarks you create on the phone's browser are automatically and almost instantly synced with Google Chrome.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the Google Chrome browser on your computer. Click the "Gear" icon at the upper right corner of the window and click "Options." Navigate to the "Personal Stuff" section and click the "Set Up Sync" button. Enter the same Google Account email address and password that you use on your Android phone. Click the "Sign In" button when done.

    • 2

Turn on your Android phone and open the Android Market app.

    • 3

Press the "Search" button on your phone and type "ChromeMarks Lite" as the search term. Tap the "Go" button.

    • 4

Tap the "ChromeMarks Lite" app listing and touch the "Free" button. When asked for permission, tap the "OK" button. The application downloads to the phone and installs.

    • 5

Exit the Android Market and tap the "ChromeMarks Lite" icon from the home screen. Tap the "Sync" link to sync your phone's browser bookmarks to the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
