How to Get the Whistle to Call Nessie on Cryptids Island

Cryptids Island is one of the island levels available in the online game "Poptropica." You need to find the Loch Ness monster, Nessie, as part of the Cryptids Island level. In order to find Nessie, you have to call her with a whistle. You must play three games of darts at the pub in order to receive the Penny Whistle. After each game of darts, you will complete additional steps to proceed.

Instructions

First Game of Darts

1. Enter the pub.

2. Proceed to the far left and get the Matches.

3. Speak with the man in the pub.

4. Play darts with the man. If you don't win the first time, continue to play until you do win. The man will give you a ticket.

5. Leave the pub and go to the left.

6. Speak with the man that has a yellow jeep.

7. Blow out his tire by clicking on it. You obtain a camera from him.

8. Proceed to the rowboat Lil' Ness and take a ride.

9. Take a picture of Nessie as you ride. You do not have to be up close to snap the picture.

10. Return to Mew's Mansion and you will be informed that the Nessie in the picture is a fake.

Second Game of Darts

1. Return to the pub.

2. Talk to the men milling about and get one to play a game of darts with you. He will give you a ticket to ride on the submarine.

3. Proceed to the submarine.

4. Guide the submarine to the bottom left.

5. Take a picture of Nessie, even though it will be obvious that this is also a fake.

6. Go back to the pub with your picture. It will be confirmed as a fake.

Third Game of Darts

1. Speak again with the man who was your first opponent.

2. Play another game of darts with the man. He promises that he can give you the way to find Nessie. When you win, you find out that he lied to you.

3. Speak with the bartender. He will give you the Penny Whistle because he feels bad for you. This is the whistle you need to find Nessie.

Tips & Warnings

• As you play darts, your opponents will get tougher, but your darts will get better. Just keep playing until you win each game.
