How to Stop a Paltalk Scene
Paltalk is a website that offers video chat rooms for people to converse in. Often these are friendly and interesting conversations that occur between people of many different countries. However, because online chat can be impersonal, disputes can often occur. To stop a Paltalk scene, it is important to stay calm and collected while using the chat room administration tools appropriately. Use chat room etiquette to try to calm other members down before choosing more severe actions.

1
Register as a member on Paltalk. Users can enter a chat room as a guest but guests do not have any administrative rights on a chat room, whereas a registered user can bounce or ban an unruly chat participant.
-
2
Start a new chat room from the list of options available on your accounts page. Invite other Paltalk members to join you in the chat room. By starting a new room you become the moderator and can keep members from insulting others.
-
-
3
Invite PalTalk users you are familiar with and already chat with in other rooms. This keeps friendly confident people in the chat room, and allows for fewer disruptions.
-
4
Participate in the chat room using the basic chat rules of etiquette. Avoid using all capital letters this indicates shouting. Avoid foul or offensive language and stick to topics that are not controversial, such as sexual, religious or political topics.
-
5
Bounce a user who continually behaves obnoxiously. Notice the administrative console that appears when you start your own chat room. Select the user name you want to bounce and click the "Bounce" button to remove an offensive user from the chat room.
-
6
Select the "Ban" option in the admin console when you want a more permanent solution to preventing the user from using the chat room. Banning a user will prevent him from entering the room for at least 30 days.
