How to Make a Friendship Bracelet Into a Headband
Old friendship bracelets from your middle school years need not be tossed into the trash. Make a memorable headband that pays homage to those years of friendship and fun by gluing them directly to the headband. Friendship bracelets are narrow enough that they can line a thin headband, but you also can glue several on a wide headband. Be creative.
Things You'll Need

- Friendship bracelets
- Headband
- Scissors
- Hot glue sticks
- Hot glue gun

Insert a glue stick into the glue gun, plug in the gun and wait for the glue to warm for several minutes.

3
Snip off loose strings from the ends of the friendship bracelets. You do not need these parts because you are gluing the bracelets flat on a headband instead of using the strings to tie the bracelet around your wrist.

Squeeze a line of glue on the back of the bracelet and press it on the headband, starting at the bottom of the headband and working up the arch. There is no need to measure the length of the bracelets. Simply glue them on the headband to cover the headband base. Snip off excess when you get to the end of the headband and secure the end with a little more hot glue.

Tips & Warnings
Allow the glue to dry before putting on the headband to avoid getting hot glue in your hair.
