How to Get the Netherwing in "WoW"

Netherwing is a special breed of dragon found in the World of Warcraft online game. By completing a lengthy quest chain and reaching a reputation level of exalted with the Netherwing faction, players may obtain various colors of Netherwing drake flying mounts.

Instructions

1. Purchase the Artisan level riding skill. This skill allows you to ride flying mounts at 300 percent speed and is required to obtain a Netherwing mount.

2. Travel to the Shadowmoon Valley zone in the continent of Outlands.

3. Travel to the southeast corner of Shadowmoon Valley and locate Mordenai, a non-player character. He can be found in the Netherwing Fields, an area immediately to the right of the Sanctum of the Stars on the Shadowmoon Valley map.

4. Accept the Kindness quest from Mordenai and complete it.

5. Accept the Seek Out Neltharaku quest from Mordenai.

6. Speak to Neltharaku, a large dragon flying right above Mordenai, and complete the quest.

7. Accept the next quest in the quest chain, Neltharaku's Tale, from Neltharaku.

8. Continue completing and accepting quests, working your way through the quest chain. The quests you need to complete, in order, are: Infiltrating Dragonmaw Fortress, To Netherwing Ledge!, The Force of Neltharaku, Karynaku, Zuluhed the Whacked and Ally of the Netherwing.

9. Accept the Blood Oath of the Netherwing quest from Mordenai. It will automatically complete.

10. Accept the In Service of the Illidari quest from Mordenai.

11. Travel to Netherwing Ledge, found directly south of your position, and deliver the quest to Overlord Mor'ghor.

12. Accept the followup quest Enter the Taskmaster from Overlord Mor'ghor and deliver it to Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath, a few yards away from Overlord Mor'ghor. This will unlock a series of daily quests that will increase your reputation with the Netherwing faction.

13. Complete the daily quests every day until you reach a reputation level of exalted with the Netherwing faction. As your reputation increases, more quests will become available to you.

14. Accept the Bow to the Highlord quest from Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath and deliver it to Overlord Mor'ghor.

15. Accept the Lord Illidan Stormrage followup quest from Overlord Mor'ghor. After a short cut scene, a Netherwing dragon will fly you to Shattrath City, where you can deliver the quest and chose one of six different Netherwing drakes to serve as your mount.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are in a guild of at least level 4, you will gain reputation 5 percent faster through the Mr. Popularity perk; if the guild is level 12 or above, the second rank of the Mr. Popularity perk will increase your reputation gains by a further 5 percent, for a total increase of 10 percent in rep gains.

• While you are completing the daily quests, keep an eye out for any Netherwing Eggs, glowing eggs with crystal spikes growing out of them. Each Netherwing Egg you find can be delivered to Yarzill the Merc on Netherwing Ledge for an additional 250 Netherwing reputation.
