How to Export Files in Expression Web

Microsoft Expression Web, a Web design and development software application, allows you to export website components that you've created with the application by using personal Web packages, where dependent files are copied into the packages to maintain the integrity of the site components. Export files from Expression Web using its "Export" feature, then use the "Import" feature to import the Web package into a new location.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Microsoft Expression Web, then open the website containing the files to export by clicking on the site from the "Most Recently Used" list which appears when you open the program.

    • 2

Click the "Folders" tab in the right pane of the application interface to show the website in a folder structure.

    • 3

Click "File" on the top navigation bar and select "Export." The Export Wizard launches.
