How to Make a Rasta Colored Friendship Bracelet
Use the Rasta theme to make a friendship bracelet to give away. Rasta-style items use the colors red, yellow and green. Some items use gold instead of yellow. Rasta culture, or Rastafari, came from Jamaican religion and culture, though people can find it in various parts of pop culture. For example, Bob Marley played a role in the movement and is often accompanied by the three colors on posters and signs. The three colors work well for braided friendship bracelets.

Fasten the knot to a countertop or the back of a chair with a piece of masking tape. Run your fingers through the red, yellow and green strings to separate them.

Braid the red, yellow and green strings together until you make a 2-inch braid.
-
6
Tie the three strings into a single knot. The knot should sit right up against the braid.

Braid another 2 inches of the strings. Tie another knot. Continue braiding and knotting the string until a 1-inch tail is left. Tie the bracelet on a wrist.
