Instructions

    • 1

Slice an avocado open lengthwise and separate the two halves. Poke the tines of a fork into the seed and dislodge it from the meat of the avocado.

    • 2

Scoop out the avocado meat into a bowl with a spoon or fork. Mash up the avocado with a fork until it is creamy and lump-free. Add 1/4 cup of pure virgin olive oil or 1 tsp. of honey to the avocado and mix well if desired.

    • 3

Slather the mixture onto your face and neck and let it remain there for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off the mask with warm water and pat your face and neck dry. Follow up with toner and moisturizer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Plain avocado is sufficient to make a moisturizing mask. Only add olive oil or honey if you like.

  • Leftover mask stored in the refrigerator will darken, but it won't reduce its effectiveness.
