How to Clean Mac Codes in UNIX

The Mac OSX computer uses coding for the system library and the disk permissions on the UNIX operating system. If you would like to clean your Mac codes on the system, you can do so through the Disk Utility application on your computer. This comes preinstalled with the system software.

      Click on the "Finder" button and then click on the "Applications" folder.

      Click on the "Disk Utility" icon from the "Utilities" folder.

      Click on the "First Aid" icon and then click the "Verify Disk Permissions" button. Wait for the system to scan your disk to verify the disk permissions.

      Click the "Repair Disk Permissions" icon to repair your disk permissions.

      Click the "Restart" button when prompted to restart your system.
