How to Send a Flair on Facebook

Facebook, the popular social networking phenomenon, has developed an array of new features since its inception in 2005. Today's users enjoy access to a wide range of applications they can search and download to their profiles to customize and enhance the Facebook experience. Pieces of Flair is one such application that allows users to send their friends decorative buttons with just a few clicks.

Instructions

1. Log into your Facebook account via Facebook.com.

2. Type "flair" into the search bar located at the top of the screen, and select the app "Pieces of Flair" that appears in the drop-down menu.

3. Click on the "Go to App" button and then press "Allow" on the "Request for Permission" popup window. You will now have access to a large collection of flair to send to your Facebook friends.

4. Browse through the pages of flair, or type a keyword into the search bar if you are looking for a specific type of flair. Click the "-> Send" button underneath the piece of flair you wish to send. You can also click on the "Create Flair" tab to upload your own image to send as a piece of flair.

5. Click on the name of each friend to whom you would like to send the piece of flair. You can send a piece of flair to up to 16 friends at a time.

6. Click the "Send Pieces of Flair Request" button. Click "Add Personal Message" if you would like to send your friend(s) a message along with the flair. When you are finished typing your message, or if you do not wish to attach a message, press "Send." Your friends will receive a notification informing them that someone has sent them a piece of flair. They will have the option to accept or ignore the gift.
