How to Put Pencil Drawings on the Computer
Even in the digital age, there is still something about the tactile feeling of drawing with a pencil and paper. If you are one who does a lot of drawing with a pencil and paper, it is a good idea to create a backup of your drawings on your computer. This allows you to make adjustments, fixes or additions to your drawing using graphic editing software, create a catalog of your drawings, share them with others via e-mail, social networking sites or even uploading them to your own website. To do this, you need the right equipment.

Select the resolution and color settings from the scanning software. The higher the resolution, the more detail you will get in your scans. However, the higher the resolution, the larger the file size, so keep this in mind if you intend to send your scans via e-mail.
