How to Get Power Armor

"Fallout: New Vegas" is a video game released by Bethesda in 2010. In this game, you can find many pieces of armor scattered around the world. However, without the right training, you cannot wear Power Armor, a much stronger type of suit. The only way you can get Power Armor and its training is by speaking with the Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel after completing the Still in the Dark quest. Which Elder appears at the end of this quest determines what quest you must complete to get the Power Armor.

Instructions

1. Wait three in-game days if you chose Hardin to be the new Elder. This allows time for him to overthrow McNamara and take over the role for himself.

2. Speak with either McNamara or Hardin. Either one will give you specific instructions to complete.

3. Defeat the Van Graff family if Hardin is the Elder. Find the entire family inside the Silver Rush in Freeside.

4. Travel to Black Mountain, marked on your in-game map, and defeat Tabitha if McNamara is Elder. She is a Nightkin who wears heart-shaped glasses and a blond wig. Black Mountain is located directly west of the Brotherhood of Steel bunker where you speak with McNamara.

5. Return to McNamara or Hardin when you complete the quest. He will train you in Power Armor wearing and give you your own set to wear.
