How to Get a Hula Skirt on "ClubPenguin"
The hula skirt, also known as the "grass skirt," is an action costume item in "Club Penguin." Equip the hula skirt and your penguin will dance a hula dance whenever you click on the dance action button on the lower left side of the screen. There are two ways in which you can get the hula skirt in the game. Either way, the skirt will cost 200 coins, so make sure you save up enough before you attempt to purchase it.

Become a paid member. Only paying members can access the "Penguin Style" catalog in the game.

Log into the game. Click on the "Map" icon in the lower left corner. Select the "Shops" button. Click on the button with a t-shirt that reads "Penguin Style" to enter the clothing store.

Click on the changing booths at the left side of the screen. You will see the "Penguin Style" catalog pop up. Click on the bottom of each page to scroll through the currently available clothing items. Stop when until you locate the "Grass Skirt" hula skirt.

Click on the hula skirt. Confirm your purchase. The skirt will appear in your inventory.

Log into the game. Click on the "Map" icon to bring up the map. Select "Places" and click on "The Plaza."

Click on one of the doors on "The Stage" building to enter.

Select the "Costumes" chest in the lower right corner. Click on the "G" in the word "Forgot" that appears on the screen. The option to purchase the grass skirt will appear on the screen.

Confirm your purchase. The skirt will appear in your inventory.

The grass skirt is a seasonal item and may not always be available. If currently unavailable, continue to check "The Stage" and the "Penguin Style" catalog.
You will not be able to purchase the hula skirt in the "Penguin Style" catalog unless you are a paid member.
