How to Merge Widgets in WordPress
Most WordPress themes come with multiple widgetized areas for adding site widgets. Common widgetized areas include the upper and lower sidebar and the footer. Widgets are elements you can assign to regions on your site. Typical widgets include RSS feeds, search forms, category post listings, recent post listings and login forms. By using the simple WordPress drag-and-drop widget tool, you can easily combine multiple widgets into one section to make them display together.

Sign into your WordPress site. Click "Widgets."

Click each of the widgetized areas to expand them. The assigned widgets will be visible in each section.

Click the widgets one by one. Hold your mouse button down and drag each widget into the same widget column.

Click "Save" to save your changes. The site widgets are now combined into one widgetized area on the site.
