How to Make a Titanic

How to Make a Titanic thumbnail
The Titanic is named after the famous "unsinkable" ship that sank in 1912.

Making a Titanic drink requires a little bit of bar equipment to make. A Titanic features Galliano, a yellow Italian sweet liqueur, and contains many herbal notes that make it perfect for bringing a drink together. The drink also features vodka, dry vermouth and Blue Curacao. Blue Curacao is a sweet citric liqueur, which makes the final mixed drink sweet, fruity and herbal. Does this Spark an idea?

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice until it is half full.

    • 2

Measure .5 oz of dry vermouth, .5 oz of Blue Curacao and .5 oz of Galliano using the jigger. Measure 1.5 oz of vodka. Pour all of these over the ice in the cocktail shaker.

    • 3

Cover the shaker with the lid, and shake for about 30 seconds.

    • 4

Strain the drink into the martini glass and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Serve a Titanic straight up or over the rocks. For a cheeky twist, buy an ice cube tray that makes glacier-shaped ice cubes, or Titanic-shaped cubes, and serve the Titanic over them.

  • Jiggers come with a smaller 1 oz side and a larger 1.5 oz side, generally, and some of them mark out measurements like a measuring cup. If you're unsure of your estimating skills, find one with the measurement marked out.

  • Do not drink and drive, or operate heavy machinery after ingesting alcohol.

  • Do not drink or buy alcohol if you live in the United States and are under the age of 21.
