How to Cut Meat for Kebabs
Kebabs, also known as kabobs and satays, are skewers of grilled meat that typically include lamb, chicken, steak or shrimp as the primary ingredient. You can also include vegetables for added flavor. Cut the meat so it's about the same size as the vegetables to allow for even cooking. If you have trouble stabilizing the meat on the skewer, try using a second skewer. Does this Spark an idea?

Place your lamb, chicken and beef on the cutting board. Shrimp goes straight onto the skewer.

Tips & Warnings
Pair meats with vegetables that have the similar cooking time. For example, peppers and onions pair well with chicken. Tomatoes, which cook faster, are perfect for shrimp.
