In "NCAA Football 10," you can create your own helmet, starting from a blank slate.

"NCAA Football 10" is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. The 2010 edition features the introduction of Team Builder -- a game mode that gives users the ability to create a school from scratch and customize team information such as name, field and uniform. You also can fully customize your team's helmets, as "NCAA Football 10" gives gamers many options in this mode.

Instructions

    • 1

Load "NCAA Football 10" into your console, and enter the Team Builder mode of the game. Start a new school, or load a university that you previously created.

    • 2

Choose the "Uniform" tab on the top of the screen. The various accessories of your team's uniform appear along the right-hand side of the screen. Helmet changes are at the top of the list.

    • 3

Follow onscreen instructions to customize team helmets to your liking. In "NCAA Football 10," each team gets two helmets -- a primary and an alternate. The game features 24 different helmet styles. Adjust the number of stripes, stripe pattern, stripe color, face mask color, chin strap color, and logo or number placement.

Finish making your helmet changes, and save your team. When you load your team in a game mode, such as Dynasty or Play Now, your school will feature the helmets you created.
