How to Get Breading to Stay on Poppers
Poppers are breaded jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese that are fried or baked. Poppers are great served as an appetizer at a dinner party, snack for a movie or simply an afternoon snack. However, when making poppers, it is often hard to get the breading to stick to the outside shell of a jalapeno. In order to get the breading to stay on jalapeno poppers, it is important to know the proper procedure for breading them. Does this Spark an idea?

Crack an egg into a small bowl.

Beat the egg with a fork to blend the egg yolk with the egg white.

Pour bread crumbs into another bowl.

Dip a jalapeno pepper into the egg to coat its entire outside.

Allow any excess egg to drip off and then dip the jalapeno pepper into the bread crumbs to coat the pepper. The egg coating, also called an egg wash, will bind the bread crumbs together and hold them onto the poppers.

Tips & Warnings
If not completely coated after this process, dip the popper into the egg mixture again and then coat it with more bread crumbs.
