How to Get Flygon in "Sapphire"
Flygon is a high-level, Ground- and Dragon-type Pokémon found in "Pokémon Sapphire." His abilities include Levitate, Sonic Boom, Sand Attack, Sand Tomb and Faint Attack, making him a powerful ally when status ailments are required for defeating an enemy. You will not encounter a Flygon in the wild, so you will have to capture a younger version of this creature and help it to evolve. Adding a Flygon to your collection will take time and dedication, as he represents the third evolution of one specific creature.

Run to Hoenn Route 111, in between Mauville City and Mount Chimney.

Explore the deep sand areas of Route 111 until you are ambushed by a Trapnich.

Defeat Trapnich and capture him. Trapnich is a Ground-type creature, so Water, Grass or Ice are your best choices for a quick fight.

Add Trapnich to your battle party and use him each time you fight. As he gains experience points, he will increase in level.

Help Trapnich level until he reaches 35, at which point he will evolve into Vibrava.

Keep Vibrava in your battle party until he reaches level 45. At level 45, Vibrava becomes Flygon.
