How to Get a Snowrunt in "Pearl"
Snorunt is an Ice-type Pokemon with average offensive and defensive statistics, but makes up for that with an above average amount of hit points (HP) for a non-rare Ice Pokemon. In "Pokemon Pearl," Snorunt is only accessible after you've received the PokeRadar, which you receive from Professor Rowan after you've defeated the Elite Four and seen all the Pokemon in the National PokeDex. With the PokeRadar, Snorunt can be found roaming around Acuity Lakefront, Routes 216 and 217.

Fly, bike or walk to Snowpoint City. Press the "Start" button and select "Map" to see your current location in relation to Snowpoint City.

Go to the west (right) side of Snowpoint City and head toward the Acuity Lakefront.

Walk through any of the patches of grass around Acuity Lakefront or continue towards Route 217 and 216. Snorunt has a 22 percent appearance rate regardless of which area you look for it in. Use fire, fighting or rock-based attacks to weaken Snorunt until its health is in the red. Throw a Pokeball or Ultraball to catch it.
