  1. Back and Neck

      Use the size J crochet needle and yarn to chain 31 stitches to begin the back and neck of the sweater.

      Complete row one by double crochet stitching in the second chain from the hook, then across all 30 stitches.

      Complete row two by chaining two, then repeat the same stitching as row one.

      Complete row three by chaining one stitch, then single crochet stitch all the way across.

      Complete row four by chaining one stitch, then single crochet stitch all the way across.

      Complete row five by chaining two stitches. Double crochet stitch all the way across.
