Popping a wheelie is a stunt commonly seen on bicycles.

A "wheelie" is a vehicle maneuver where the front wheel comes off the ground from extreme torque applied to the back wheel. The driver balances the weight load on the back wheel and continues to ride. This move is popular with riders of mopeds, motorcycles and bicycles, but drivers can also pop wheelies in cars in drag races. A wheelie is a challenging stunt and you should only attempt it if you are a seasoned rider.

  • Serious injuries could occur while attempting to pop a wheelie.

  • The back end of a moped is low to the ground and can easily scrape the ground while popping a wheelie.
