How to Do the Hidden Faces on Skype

Skype's available emoticons are typical, with faces including standard smileys, angry faces, scared, disgusted and frustrated faces. There are, however, a number of hidden face emoticons that aren't displayed in the emoticon chat selector. Some of them are a little crude. You can display these emoticons using secrete Skype codes without installing additional plugins or software. They're included with the Skype core installation.

Instructions

1. Open Skype and click on the name of the user you want to chat with. Click "Send IM." This opens the chat window.

2. Type "(rock)" to display a smiley emoticon flashing the rock and roll symbol.

3. Type "(TMI)" to display a too-much-information smiley face with the character covering his eyes.

4. Type "(swearing)" to display a smiley face with censored words running across her mouth.

5. Type "(headbang)" to display an emoticon with a face banging his head against the wall in frustration.

6. Type "(smoking)" to display an emoticon with a smiley face smoking a cigarette.

7. Type "(drunk)" to display an intoxicated smiley face.
