How to Register a Vehicle With a Lien Holder in Missouri
Many people obtain financing in order to purchase a vehicle. In Missouri, if you have a lien on your vehicle for any reason, the process for registering, or titling, the vehicle is essentially same as when you have a clear title. The lien holder will fill out the section on the certificate for title where liens are recorded before giving you the document. By filling out the lien holder section, the lien becomes part of the title to the vehicle when you register the vehicle thereby protecting the lien holder's interest.

Gather the other documents you will need. You will need the certificate of title, that the seller provided to you.
