How to Mod to Increase the Text Size in Joomla

Increase text size with ease using a Joomla! extension.

Joomla! is a content management system similar to WordPress that allows users to create and manage websites without advanced programming knowledge. Joomla! is a free, open source platform that gains versatility through the use of third-party extensions. Joomla! extensions enable users to customize their website in a number of ways. If you want to increase text size in Joomla! you can use an extension.

Instructions

1. Launch your browser and download the "Simple Font Resizer" extension from Joomla!. Save the file to your desktop in a new folder named "Joomla Extensions."

2. Log in to your Joomla! site as an administrator, and highlight the "Extensions" tab. Click "Install/Uninstall."

3. Go to "Joomla Extensions" on your desktop, and click "mod_fontsize.zip." Select "Upload & Install."

4. Go to your website editor, and highlight text. Increase the percentage that appears to increase the text size, with default being 100 percent.
