Oetiker Clamp Installation
Oetiker makes clamping systems for hoses and cables. Depending on the application, you can choose many different clamp sizes. All Oetiker clamps have a crimp design so they can be slipped on to hoses and cables to hold items like cable stems in place. Crimping is done with a clamp crimping tool produced by Oetiker for its specific line of products. Once an Oetiker clamp has been installed it can not be removed and reused again. Slip the open Oetiker clamp over your hose or cable. Position it directly over the hose stem or other attachment that you are clamping in to the hose.

Open the handle of the Oetiker crimping tool and place the teeth of the tool around the closing tabs of the clamp.

Squeeze the handle of the crimping tool to close the clamp and crimp it in place.
