How to Get TM01 in "Pokémon Pearl"
In "Pokemon Pearl," you can use Technical Machines to teach your Pokemon moves they may not otherwise learn as they grow in levels. For example, TM01 contains Focus Punch -- a powerful Fighting-type attack. The major downside to the attack is that it requires the user to lose a turn before unleashing its force. If the opponent strikes while the user is trying to focus, the attack will fail. TM01 is hidden in the basement of the Oreburgh Gate, a tunnel connecting Oreburgh City with Route 203.

Travel to Oreburgh City, which is south of Route 207 in western Sinnoh. If you've previously visited this city, you can return there with the Fly ability.

Walk west from town to enter the Oreburgh Gate.

Travel westward through the tunnel until you reach a fork.

Follow the northern path until your reach a set of stairs. You will need to use Rock Smash to break the rocks that block sections of this path.

Descend into the basement of the Oreburgh Gate.

Travel south through the basement until you find an underground lake.

Swim west through the lake until you reach a strip of land on the westernmost side of the basement.

Walk north until you find a moveable boulder and breakable rock.

Use the Rock Smash ability to break the rock, and then use the Strength ability to push the boulder out of your way.

Walk several paces north, and pick up TM01.

Tips & Warnings
This cave contains wild Pokemon such as Zubat, Geodude and Psyduck. Spray Repel to ward off these wild Pokemon as you search for TM01.
Rivals trainers also inhabit the cave. The strongest of these is Veteran Grant. His trio of Pokemon are around level 34, so bring a team strong enough to handle these opponents.
