How to Get the Helicopter in Reality TV on "Poptropica"
In the children's online game "Poptropica," the game is set up into a number of different islands, each based on a specific theme within today's pop culture. On the Reality TV island, you have to ride in a helicopter to complete the level. Unfortunately, you cannot use this helicopter in the way that vehicles are used in many other video games; you can't control it in any way. It is only a tool that will take you to the next part of the island. However, you can have a bit of fun by jumping up on top of the helicopter's blades and letting it spin you around for a while.

Go inside the TV World store when you arrive on the island. Jump up to the top floor and talk to the man in the red hat. He'll ask you to change the TV channel. Change the channel and it will show an ad for a reality show, telling you the address to send applications to.

Leave the TV store and go to Mike's Market. Go right and talk to the man in the tie. After the conversation, he'll leave and drop a "Pop-Topics" magazine. Pick up the magazine and read it in your inventory. Click the next page to find an application for the show. Click it to put it in your inventory.

Leave the market and go to the motel at the far left of the level. Enter the Motel Office and click the cup of pens on the right. This adds a pen to your inventory. Click the magazine and turn the page to the TV schedule. There is an ad at the bottom for Papa Pete's Pizza, with a phone number 555-7383. Click the phone next to the cup of pens. Dial the number for the pizza place. If asked where to deliver it, select room 4B.

Leave the Motel Office. Talk to the pizza delivery person, who has forgotten the room number. Tell him you'll deliver the pizza. Go up to room 4B and knock. Enter the door when it opens. Talk to the man inside and choose the option "I could really use that grand prize." He'll give you a stamp for your application.

Click on the application to fill it out. Write the reason why you want to be on the show. It can be anything you want. Leave the motel room and run to the right of the level. You should see a blue mailbox. Click on it to mail the application. The game will change to "The Next Day," and you will find that the helicopter has appeared on the roof of the motel, ready to take you to the second part of the island.
