How to Get Loads of Kills in "Halo"
"Halo" is a futuristic first-person shooter game that features a variety of environments, weapons and vehicles. Knowing your way around each map, weapon locations, how to use each weapon most efficiently and power up spawn times are keys to getting a lot of kills in any game mode. A good "Halo" player becomes familiar with all of those details and uses that knowledge to come out on top in any situation.

1
Walk around the multiplayer levels by yourself to become familiar with the layout, choke points and weapon locations. With the exception of "Halo: Combat Evolved," later versions of "Halo" allow you to load a multiplayer map in the matchmaking lobby with only one player.
-
2
Run to the power weapons at the start of each game. Power weapons, such as the Sword and Rocket Launcher, are generally one hit kills and the quickest way to rack up a high kill count. When using the Rocket Launcher, wait until multiple opponents are in one area and fire a rocket to get a double or triple kill. Hide the sword until an opponent comes closer, equip the sword and perform a lunge attack.

Use scoped weapons at medium to long range. Scoped weapons, such as the Pistol and Battle Rifle, can kill an opponent with three to six shots, depending on the version of "Halo." When you shoot at moving opponents, calculate for bullet travel time and distance by aiming the reticle slightly ahead of them in the direction they're moving.

Keep moving, even when you are not getting shot at. Idle players are more prone to snipers, grenades and power weapons. Crouch or hide behind objects in the environment when under fire to give your shield time to recharge.
