How to Get to the Temple of Akatosh in Kvatch
In "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," players get to go on various quests for a wide variety of factions within the land of Cyrodiil. Each guild features its own set of quests, so there are a large number of missions available at any time. The main storyline follows your quest to help retrieve the Amulet of Kings and help a man named Martin rise as Emperor of Cyrodiil. You must first find Martin inside the temple in the city of Kvatch, a task that is not as simple as it sounds.

Travel to the red marker on your map that marks the location of Kvatch. Follow the horse trail that winds up the mountain to find the city of Kvatch.

Speak with the guard named Savlian Matius about the state of Kvatch. Savlian informs you that a gate to Oblivion has opened up in the town center, and various Daedric creatures have escaped, wreaking havoc on the town.

Agree to enter Oblivion and turn on the Sigil Stone. Enter the gate, travel to the East to find the Blood Feast. Enter the doors and make your way up to the top, killing each Daedric creature along the way. Once you activate the stone, the game will automatically return you to Kvatch.

Speak with Savlian again. He briefs you on the current mission and asks you to help him clear the town of Daedric creatures and rescue survivors who have taken shelter in the temple.

Enter the gates of Kvatch and kill any leftover creatures. You can now enter the temple and speak with Martin.
