An image border separates images from text or lets viewers know the image is clickable. Add a image border with HMTL 4.0.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Open a text-editing program, such as EditPad or Notepad.
Step2
Position the cursor in the image tag, which should look like this:

Add the following after the quotation marks: border=2. This will add a double-sized border around the image. The image tag should now read:

Remove an existing image border by changing the border= value to zero (0).
Step5
Save the file and open in a web browser to view the page.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you use a higher value, the image border will be thicker.
