How to Make a Beautiful Origami Heart
Origami can often be quite difficult and intricate, but an origami heart is a very basic and easy activity for people who are new to paper folding. Use this simple yet beautiful paper heart as a decoration, or write a message on it to make into a card for a loved one on Valentine's Day. This activity requires only one sheet of red origami paper and can be done in a matter of minutes.

1
Lay the piece of paper on a flat, hard surface, red-side down in a diamond-shaped orientation.
-
2
Fold the piece of paper in half horizontally, and then unfold it to create a crease line.
-
-
3
Fold it in half vertically, and then unfold it to create another crease line. The paper should now be divided into quarters.
-
4
Fold the top corner of the paper downwards so the tip touches the center of the paper where the two crease lines intersect.
-
5
Fold the bottom corner upwards so the point touches the very top of the paper.
-
6
Fold the right side of the paper upwards so it is aligned with and touches the crease at the center. Repeat with the left side.
-
7
Flip the paper over to the opposite side, and fold both the left and right points inwards.
-
8
Fold both the right and left top points of the shape downwards. Fold just about 1/4 inch from the tip, not the entire flap.
-
9
Flip the paper over to complete your heart.
