If you have lots of leftover roast beef and want to reuse it in a recipe, you can throw it in a Crock-Pot with a few other ingredients to make a delicious beef stew. Stews that are cooked in Crock-Pots are incredibly flavorful because the ingredients are slow cooked to perfection. The hardest part about the recipe is waiting until it's finished cooking to dig in -- the stew cooks for hours and fills your home with the wonderful aroma of garlic and simmering beef. Things You'll Need

  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves, minced
  • Whisk
  • Fork
  • 5 cups cubed vegetables of choice

Instructions

      Add beef broth, flour, salt, pepper, paprika, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce and garlic cloves into a Crock-Pot. Use a whisk to combine the ingredients well, being careful not to crush the bay leaf.

      Shred the leftover roast beef with a fork and add up to 2 lbs. to the Crock-Pot.

      Add vegetables of your choice. Onions, potatoes, celery, carrots and corn are all popular vegetable choices for beef stew.

      Stir the ingredients well and place the top on the Crock-Pot.

      Cook the stew for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
