How to Run a GHO File
A file with the GHO file extension is a Symantec Norton Ghost backup file. Symantec's Ghost Solutions Suite is a disk utility that enables the user to make an exact copy, or a disk image, of a hard drive or partition. The disk image is contained in the GHO file. The GHO image may consist of one backed-up file or a set of files. To run a GHO file and restore the data within the file, you must have Norton Ghost installed. Download a free trial version of the Symantec Ghost Solutions Suite from shareware download sites such as CNET and Softpedia.
